Abbey played a crucial role to help me get to where I am today. At the time I met Abbey, I was still in college and struggling to figure out where to go with my future career. I was incredibly fortunate to sit down with Abbey and get her advice about how to move forward. The biggest thing that Abbey did for me was encourage me that God has a bigger plan for my life rather than just staying comfortably in the job I had at the time in Virginia.

After meeting with Abbey, I applied to a very intensive paid airport internship located in Colorado. The internship process was very intense, with about 50-75 applicants per year, with only 2 spots available. Fortunately, Abbey supported me through the entire process. She provided invaluable feedback on my resume, tested my skills with challenging interview questions, and gave me all the confidence I needed to pursue this intensive internship. After applying to the internship and a virtual interview, I was one of the only candidates selected for a second interview in person in Colorado. After Abbey heard about this, she was overjoyed and even more dedicated to helping me reach my goals. Abbey continued to ensure I was well prepared for anything thrown my direction leading up to this second interview. She tested my knowledge with harder interview questions, helped me practice proper interview etiquette, and even provided prayer when I needed it the most. Abbey made me feel so prepared going into my second interview. In April of 2023, I flew out to Colorado and used everything that Abbey taught me to ACE my second interview. About a week later I would receive a phone call letting me know that I was selected to be the next airport intern.

In May of 2023, I would move out to Colorado and work as an intern at one of the busiest airports in the United States. I was able to work in my desired field of aviation and help people every single day. I could not have been happier. A year later, as my internship was coming to a close, I was offered a chance to interview again for a full-time position. Due to my performance, dedication, and using some of the great tips and tricks Abbey taught me, I was hired on full time in March of 2024.

I can now confidently say that thanks to God, Abbey, and a lot of hard work, that I now work my dream job every single day. Genuinely, the joy, excitement, and fulfillment that my job brings me is unmatched to anything else I have ever been able to do. If it wasn’t for Abbey’s guidance and support, I do not think I would be where I am today. THANK YOU ABBEY.
